The following test was made in order to validate if the ultrasonic level sensor was working correctly. The ultrasonic level sensor is a radiation-based level-measuring device that uses a transmission and reflection of ultrasonic waves to determine the level of a material in a container. The test consisted in assembling the circuit shown in figure 7 in order to observe the changes in the values on the process as the level is manipulated manually.
In order for the circuit to work, the pressure regulator must be set to 0 psi. In this case, even though the circuit was assembled correctly, the ultrasonic level sensor did not gave the desired value because of a wrong calibration of the T5552.
